Nei fienili del vecchio rustico abbiamo ricavato otto stanze dotate di : un piccolo soggiorno, un bagno interno con doccia, zona letto e tetto in legno con travi a vista. Alcune sono adatte per disabili. Sono tutte organizzate come la camera del Murè* che vedi in questa pagina. Cambiano solo per i colori delle pareti che riprendono la buccia del frutto antico a cui sono dedicate. Quale preferisci? *(Murè: è il nome piemontese di Morus nigra, il gelso a frutti rossi. Un tempo le sue foglie nutrivano i bachi da seta . A Tetto Garrone si può ancora assaggiare i suoi frutti in Luglio.Azarole, Plumcot and Quince are fruits from bygone days which have been planted in our orchard. But they are also the names of the eight guest rooms which were the result of the barn conversion. Each room is decorated in colour of the fruit after which it is named. The guest rooms are like the Murè*room which can be seen on this page, excepts for wall colours. Which do you like best?
Each guest room in Tetto Garrone has: a small sitting room, a bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower. The ceilings have the original exposed wooden beams. Some guest rooms are suitable for the disabled; all can be reached by lift.
Murè: it is the Piedmontese name for morus nigra, a mulberry tree with red berries . At one time the leaves were used to feed silk worms. At Tetto garrone you can still try tasting its fruit in July.
